I am the owner of Crown Inheritance LLC. For over twenty years I have held various jobs teaching, counseling, coaching, customer service and managing others. Fifteen of those years have been dedicated to serving youth. My journey began as a teenager working every summer with small children at a local daycare. During the school year I worked part-time at a fast food restaurant and eventually received a promotion before I attended college.
Penn State University was the college of my dreams, and I graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice and two minors. One minor was sociology, and the other women's studies. While at college I became a resident assistant and a teaching assistant for sociology. Both jobs consisted of teaching and coaching.
After college I embarked on a healthcare position. With that organization I served as a health specialist and coordinator of teen programs. Individual and group counseling, teaching, program management, and development of educational materials were my specific duties.
My career has shifted, and I am currently working as a school teacher/ literacy coach at East Camden Middle School in New Jersey. I graduated from Cheyney University with a masters in elementary education. Recently I obtained my middle school certification in Language Arts Literacy. My educational pursuit is a continuous endeavor.
I came to know the Lord at a young age, but had not truly experienced God until I discovered Commitment Community Church. Over the past eight years, my life has changed tremendously and it is mainly through coming to truly know Christ. I want to personally thank my pastor Dr. Cedrick E. Brown and his wife Lisa for teaching, rebuking, and encouraging me in the word of God. I also want to thank my church family for being a body of believers that live out the word of God. I currently serve as the Furnace team leader. Through this ministry God has allowed me the awesome privilege to pray and intercede for the body of Christ. In this ministry I have personally learned and experienced the power of prayer. Prayer is the main ingredient for bringing ultimate change to your life, and I am a living testimony.
My ability to coach and encourage others is truly a gift from God. I specialize in providing spiritual direction to empower women to see the eternal plan that God has ordained for their lives. I received my certification in Christian life coaching from Professional Christian Coaching & Counseling Academy ( pccca.org).
